Description
1998 American Silver Eagle – 1 Troy Oz .999 Fine Silver
A classic piece of American precious-metal history, this 1998 American Silver Eagle contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver and is an official bullion coin of the United States Mint.
The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman’s iconic Walking Liberty design, originally created for the Walking Liberty half dollar. Liberty is depicted walking toward the rising sun while carrying branches of laurel and oak, accompanied by the inscriptions “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST.”
First introduced in 1986, the American Silver Eagle has become one of the world’s most recognizable silver bullion coins, combining its intrinsic silver content with an enduring U.S. coin design. Each coin has a $1 legal-tender face value, although its precious-metal and collector value is generally considerably greater than its denomination.
This 1998 example is housed in a protective clear capsule, helping protect the coin’s surfaces while allowing both sides to remain visible. It is an attractive choice for precious-metal collectors, American coin enthusiasts, or anyone looking to add physical silver to a collection.
Pre-owned. Coin is sold in the condition shown in the accompanying photographs. Please review the individual listing photographs carefully, as condition may vary from coin to coin.
